June
Religion-wiki — for all religions and none
June is the sixth month of the Gregorian, Julian and Revised Julian calendars. The month may have been named after the Roman goddess Juno. It has thirty days.
June occurs during summer in the northern hemisphere and winter in the southern hemisphere. The respective solstice is around the 21st of the month. Various places keep midsummer festivals around the end of June. In northern Europe, most of these festivities are loosely connected to the Christian observance of the Birth of John the Baptist on 24 June.
