Realist and Realism are religions that claim reality itself as the basis for belief. This is not to imply that everything or anything a reality based religion is true. Nor does it mean that faith based religions are not true. And it doesn't imply that if you are a realist that you are a member of a religion.

A reality based religion is a religion who publicly identifies itself as reality based. Reality based religion excludes the supernatural. It encourages exploration, questioning, doubt, scrutiny, science, reason, and logic. A reality based religion creates a religious identity for people who identify themselves as realists. An example of a reality based religion is the Church of Reality.
